The Add Nozzle window allows users to add or import a list of nozzles to the tank model.
The Add Nozzle window is separated into different areas, Nozzles Table,and Commands.
Nozzles Table Area #
The Nozzle Table area includes the following data:
TAG – Specifies the nozzle’s identification TAG.
Service – Specifies the nozzle’s service.
H/R – Specifies the nozzle’s height or radius (shell/roof) in mm/in.
Orient. – Specifies the nozzle’s orientation angle.
Proj. – Specifies the nozzle’s projection distance in mm/in.
CA – Specifies the nozzle’s corrosion allowance in mm/in.
Standard – Specifies the nozzle’s flange standard.
Class – Specifies the nozzle’s flange class.
Flange Type – Specifies the nozzle’s flange type.
Face – Specifies the nozzle’s flange facing.
Loc – Specifies the nozzle’s location.
NPS – Specifies the nozzle’s nominal pipe size (NPS).
SCH – Specifies the nozzle’s pipe schedule.
Type – Specifies the nozzle’s configuration type.
d1 – Specify the nozzle’s dimension “d1”.

d2 – Specify the nozzle’s dimension “d2”.

d3 – Specify the nozzle’s dimension “d3”. This dimension is saved for future nozzle configurations.
Reinf. – Specifies the nozzle’s reinforcement type.
Blind – Specifies the nozzle’s blinded status.
Pipe – Specifies the nozzle’s pipe material.
Fittings – Specify the nozzle’s pipe fitting material.
Flanges – Specify the nozzle’s flange material.
Studs – Specifies the nozzle’s studs’ material.
Nuts – Specify the nozzle’s nuts material.
Reinf. – Specifies the nozzle’s reinforcement material.
Notes – Specify the nozzle’s notes.
Commands Area #
The Commands area includes the following buttons:
Import Button – Import nozzle table from a spreadsheet (.xls).
Cancel Button – Exit window without performing changes.
OK Button – Exit window importing nozzle list to tank model.
